Experience the LGBTQ+ Campgrounds with Rolando and Bella One of the unexpected joys of traveling full-time has been the conversations I have along the way. Last night , I spent time talking with someone who was completely new to the LGBTQ+ camping world. As we talked, I realized just how difficult it is to explain this community to someone who has never experienced it. There isn't just one kind of LGBTQ+ camper. Travel with Rolando to our  🇺🇸 U.S. National Parks by Rolando Chang Barrero Google Local Guide and LGBTQ Traveler America's State Parks Traveling through America’s National Parks as a gay solo adventurer with my dog Bella has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. These landscapes—towering mountains, ancient forests, wild canyons, sacred deserts—welcome everyone with open skies and quiet trails where you can breathe, reflect, and simply be yourself . Each park becomes a sanctuary of freedom, a place where Bella can sniff new worlds and I can feel completely grounded, alive, and connected. From the sunrise glow over the Grand Canyon to the blue-green reflections at Glacier, these journeys remind me that our public lands belong to all of us, and that every trail holds space for joy, healing, and the courage to keep exploring. ____________ Acadia National Park Maine Explore Rugged Cliffs and Coastal Beauty at Acadia National Park. ____________ American Samoa National Park Ame...

Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Preserve Florida Four Hours Inside the Quiet By Rolando Chang Barrero Travel with Rolando and Adventures with Bella More National Parks Welcome to Travel with Rolando! Subscribe to YouTube     Support me at Patreon I ended up spending more than four unhurried hours inside Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Preserve , and it still felt like I left too soon. This place doesn’t rush you. It quietly invites you to slow your breathing, soften your footsteps, and let your eyes adjust to subtleties—ripples in dark water, the flick of wings in the distance, the way light filters through sawgrass and cypress. With my camera in hand, time became irrelevant. I moved slowly along the boardwalks and levee trails, stopping often—not because something dramatic was happening, but because  nothing  was. The silence here isn’t empty; it’s layered. Birds announce themselves, insects hum like static in the air, and occasion...
