If you’re looking for one of the most spectacular landscapes in the American West, Grand Teton National Park absolutely delivers. Bella and I visited on a two-day adventure, and every moment felt like stepping into a postcard. Towering jagged peaks, mirror-like lakes, abundant wildlife, and endless photography opportunities make this park a must-see for every traveler.
We based our stay at the Alpine / Bridger-Teton National Forest KOA Holiday, which offered beautiful river views, friendly staff, and easy access to the park. On our second day, we moved to the Gros Ventre River Campground, perfectly situated for wildlife viewing—Bella loved the early-morning walks along the water while I soaked in the peaceful mountain air.
Grand Teton National Park is more than just a stop—it's a place that inspires, humbles, and rejuvenates. Whether you're road-tripping with a pet, taking scenic drives, or exploring the hiking trails, this park offers beauty at every turn. Highly recommended for RV travelers, photographers, wildlife enthusiasts, and anyone chasing the magic of the mountains.
Our visit to the National Elk Refuge was a highlight. The sweeping valley views and the chance to observe elk and other wildlife up close made the experience unforgettable. The refuge is especially stunning in the morning light, and it's ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking a deeper connection with Wyoming’s rugged landscape.
