Our 63 National Parks with Rolando Chang Barrero and Bella
Travel with Rolando to our 🇺🇸 U.S. National Parksby Rolando Chang Barrero Google Local Guide and LGBTQ Traveler
Traveling through America’s National Parks as a gay solo adventurer with my dog Bella has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. These landscapes—towering mountains, ancient forests, wild canyons, sacred deserts—welcome everyone with open skies and quiet trails where you can breathe, reflect, and simply be yourself. Each park becomes a sanctuary of freedom, a place where Bella can sniff new worlds and I can feel completely grounded, alive, and connected. From the sunrise glow over the Grand Canyon to the blue-green reflections at Glacier, these journeys remind me that our public lands belong to all of us, and that every trail holds space for joy, healing, and the courage to keep exploring.
